Board of Directors |

CAP Services' Board of Directors is a policy-making body that
consists of 21 volunteer members.
- At least one-third of CAP's Board must be democratically
elected representatives of the low-income population served
- Another third must be elected public officials or individuals designated
by County Boards that represent all or parts of CAP's service area
- The balance are representatives of the private for-profit
or non-profit sector who represent the community-at-large

| Board Responsibilities |
- The Board develops and approves a three-year plan to guide agency operations based
on input from the low-income community, trade allies, staff, and demographic data.
- The Board hires a President and CEO to administer the corporation.
- The CEO in turn hires staff to design the annual work
plan, mobilize resources, and implement the various strategies.

| Board Committees |
Evaluation
Evaluates each agency program at least once every four
years.
Executive
Authorized to make decisions otherwise made by the Board
between the Board's regularly scheduled meetings.
Finance
Monitors the agency's financial condition.
Personnel
Oversees all human resource functions.
Planning
Oversees the development of the three-year plan and monitors
agency resource mobilization efforts to ensure compliance with the plan.
Space & Property
Monitors agency property and equipment acquisition and
use.
