CAP SERVICES BOARD & GOVERNANCE
A policy-making body that consists of 21 volunteer members. At least one-third of CAP's Board must be democratically elected representatives of the low-income population served Another third must be elected public officials or individuals designated by County Boards that represent all or parts of CAP's service area The balance are representatives of the private for-profit or non-profit sector who represent the community-at-large

BOARD COMMITTEES
Evaluation Evaluates each agency program at least once every four years. Executive Authorized to make decisions otherwise made by the Board between the Board's meetings. Finance Monitors the agency's financial condition. Personnel Oversees all human resource functions. Planning Oversees the development of the three-year plan and monitors agency resource mobilization efforts to ensure compliance with the plan. Space & Property Monitors agency property and equipment acquisition and use.
